Katarzyna Nowak, PhD
I am investigating the genetic mechanism controlling the embryogenic transition of somatic cells with a special attention to role of the regulators of genes expression – transcription factors and miRNA molecules.

Anna Maria Wójcik, PhD
I am interested in molecular mechanism triggering the embryogenic pathway in somatic cells. I am investigating the engagement of miRNAs, TFs and other genes involved in somatic embryogenic induction. In my SONATA project we are using FANS method to find and describe the molecular determinants of pluripotency in somatic cells of Arabidopsis.

Joanna Morończyk, PhD
My scientific interest is focused on epigenetic modifications, including DNA methylation and histone acetylation, that occur during plant cell differentiation. Model system in my research is somatic embryogenesis induced in Arabidopsis thaliana.
